The Mary I. Gourley Scholarship Foundation provides need-based scholarships specifically for non-traditional college students. By addressing the unique financial challenges you face, we facilitate your academic success and help you achieve your educational aspirations.

Criteria

  • We are hyper-focused on non-traditional students who attend one of our 6 DFW-area partner institutions: Texas Wesleyan University, Tarrant County College, Texas Christian University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Texas Woman’s University, and the University of Texas at Arlington.

  • Our scholarship students must have completed at least 24 hours and be enrolled full-time with a 3.0 GPA at one of our partner schools. As well, our scholars are non-traditional students balancing the obligations of work and family with the demands of the classroom. Special consideration is given to single parent applicants.

  • All applicants must be referred from a partner institution’s financial aid office. To proceed, please speak with your financial aid director and request an application.
