Foundation


The foundation is supported by the collective experience, wisdom, and heart of ambassadors within the local community. This includes the foundation’s board, which consists of the presidents (or their trusted appointees) of each of the six partner schools, as well as the scholarship committee, composed of financial aid advisors on each of the partner schools’ campuses.

Courtney Kimberling Radcliffe

Executive Director, Mary I. Gourley Scholarship Foundation

  • Courtney Kimberling Radcliffe joined the Mary I. Gourley Scholarship Foundation as the organization's Executive Director in 2021. To her role, Courtney brings over 20 years of nonprofit experience in the areas of healthcare with the JPS Foundation and education with Southern Methodist University and the Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation as the organization’s first Executive Director. 

    Born and raised in Fort Worth, she received her bachelor's in communication from Texas Wesleyan University and a master’s in journalism from the University of North Texas Mayborn School. Additionally, she is a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth, Leadership Texas and is a past recipient of the Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 award.

    Courtney is devoted to the local community and currently is involved with the following: Junior League of Fort Worth sustaining member, Jewel Charity, TCU Chi Omega Advisory Board, Make-A Wish Regional Council member and Texas Wesleyan University Alumni Board of Directors.  Past board services include Fort Worth Arts Council and the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Fort Worth, and Kupferle Health Board of Texas Health Resources Foundation.

    Courtney is an avid tennis player and loves reading, traveling and spending time with her husband William and eight-year-old daughter, Amelia Gray.
